RESPONSIBLY REHOMING YOUR CATBoys & Girls Clubs of Santa Cruz County’s Business Partnership Program allows for local businesses to support youth in Santa Cruz County. As a business partner, your financial contribution allows for Club kids to become responsible, engaging citizens with a safe space and positive mentors.
In 2020, Business Partners will be part of a yearlong celebration that includes honoring and acknowledging our past successes, staff and volunteers, enhanced Club alumni recruitment, increased advertising and public relations, streamlined sponsorship packages and a new and fun event. As a 2020 Business Partner will receive recognition and gratitude all year to reflect your ongoing support and care for youth.
When you donate to the Club through our Business Partnership Program, your funds go directly to financing quality programs, such as tutoring and homework help, support and life skill classes for teens, basketball, technology, staff training, summer field trips, meals, and facilities. Your financial support also provides scholarships and financial support for families who are unable to pay for our annual membership ($100/year) but desperately need us. Your financial support gives parents peace of mind—knowing where their children are after school and in the summer. New this year, all business partners at the $1,000+ level will be included in all major event marketing and promotional materials. Post your pet on adoption websites. There are general adoption websites, as well as specific sites for certain types of animals (for example, FIV+ and FELV+ cats, disabled pets, or senior cats). Wagaroo and Pet Bond are good examples of general adoption websites. Another option is Rehome, a peer-to-peer self-service platform launched by Adopt-a-Pet.com. The site allows pet owners who cannot keep their pets to find new loving homes in their own community. Rehome is a free service for the pet owner. The new adopter pays a small adoption fee that is then donated, in full, to an animal shelter or rescue group of the original owner’s choosing.
