WELCOME TO FELINES OF CHICAGO

Felines of Chicago is an all volunteer based  501(c)3 organization focused on being a support for rescues, networking cats out of open admission shelters and foster recruitment
through supportive partnerships with licensed rescues in the Midwest. In addition, we provide rehoming assistance,
​community cat placement, a supply pantry, local shelter improvements, education and more, in order to create a more feline furriendly Chicago. ​​

OUR SERVICES

keeping families together

We understand that life happens + we want to be there for families when it does. We would like to see families stay together but understand when that is not possible. We want to prevent cats from entering kill shelters so we provide educational materials, pet consultations, and a food pantry for those in need & re-homing assistance. ​

reducing population

Not every cat belongs or wants to be in a home. The truth is feral felines are just trying to co-exist with us.  We are working with the community to sterilize stray, community and feral cats through TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) to prevent unnecessary euthanasia and waste animal control resources. ​

supporting eachother

One of the biggest things we offer is rescue & foster assistance. Fostering can be hard on the heart & many cannot afford to feed & maintain another pet. We are here to provide a foster pet food pantry, education and emotional support for those really hard days. ​

CATS + KITTENS IN NEED OF FOSTERS

These cats, kittens, and families are searching for their foster homes and are currently located at Chicago Animal Care & Control. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please fill out our foster survey so we can match you with a rescue. If you are already matched with a rescue, send us an e-mail and we will hook you up!​
As always you can check out our Instagram for daily urgent cats who need fosters. Our absolute goal is to save lives so we are constantly looking for new fosters to join our team.
